Christian Family Counseling Center
The Christian Family Counseling Center was established in 1985 by Founder Mrs. Lyda Shamblin. Mrs. Shamblin developed and opened CFCC as an outreach ministry of Open Bible Center Church to provide Christian Counseling to individuals and families. In 2016 Mrs. Lyda Shamblin’s daughter Mrs. Sarah Wroblewski, became the new Director of the Christian Family Counseling Center. Christian Counseling, will continue to be the focus of CFCC, providing families and individuals of Kankakee and surrounding counties with ongoing Mental Health Services.
